Ely El Khoury (Arabic: ايلي الخوري; born January 20, 1993) is a Lebanese entrepreneur and architect. [3] In 2019, he co-founded Digital SocioPath, a creative agency specializing in digital services, known for helping brands and public figures engage with customers and fans through augmented reality effects. [2]

Early Life and Education Born in Douar, Lebanon, El Khoury attended Lycée Charlemagne. [3] He pursued his higher education at the University of Toronto in Canada, obtaining a BA in Architecture, then completed a Master’s Degree at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts in Beirut, Lebanon [2] (ALBA; French: Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts).

Career El Khoury worked in PR, media, and communication before co-founding Digital SocioPath with business partner Rudy Wehbe, a creative digital agency specializing in branding and social media marketing strategy. [3] In 2019, Digital SocioPath introduced Instagram filters into its services, curating customized augmented reality effects for clients. [2][4] In 2022, El Khoury and Wehbe launched their second agency, MetaPath, which specializes in creating virtual worlds, [1] drawing inspiration from the recent boom of the Metaverse.

Collaborations Through Digital SocioPath, El Khoury has collaborated with global brands such as McDonald’s, Elie Saab, Bioderma, [1] and Expo Dubai 2020, designing and branding the Lebanon Pavilion. [5] The agency has also created filters for celebrities such as Elissa, Nadine Njeim, Cyrine Abdel Nour, Maya Diab, and Najwa Karam. [1]

Honors El Khoury was featured in Forbes’ 30 under 30 [1] amongst the 2022 cohort of MENA’s most promising young entrepreneurs, pioneers, and creatives, alongside his business partner Rudy Wehbe.
